Parade of Charlie Korschgen’s children at Fort Madison begins at 10 a.m. from 18th Street and Avenue G, ending at Sixth Street and Avenue G, with Moudy Nabulsi as Grand Marshal.
Donnellson Fire Department616 N. Main St., Voluntary Donation Fundraiser Breakfast is 6-10 a.m. People can sign up for the 7:30 a.m. 5K run/walk.
Donnellson 4th of July Parade is 11 a.m. on North Main Street, followed by an American Legion fundraising luncheon in the community hall of the Pilot Grove Savings Bank.
Farmington America’s Hometown Parade will line up at 10 a.m. at the Indian Lake Park entrance, 28163 Willow Ave., and walk through the campground.
Fort Madison Fireworks will be pulled over the Mississippi River at approximately 9:45 p.m. Riverview Park will be closed to parking. A special concert by the city orchestra will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Central Park.
Keokuk 4th of July Celebration is at Rand Park, 1401 Stripe St. Fireworks will be at dusk. Keokuk Saddle Club offers pony rides from 10 a.m. to noon. The Youth Fishing Tournament takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Rand Park Pond. Riff Raff will provide live music.
Keosauqua Lions 4th of July Celebration is 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at City Park, 100 Van Buren St., ending with a fireworks display.
LaHarpe, Ill., July 4 the LaHarpe Park District-sponsored celebration is from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Lamoine Valley Golf Course, West Archer Avenue and NE St., with a full day of events, ending with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Morning sun fireworks will take place at 10 p.m. at East Division and Wilmering streets. The one-mile parade is at 3 p.m. The Legion pancake breakfast is at 6:30 a.m.
Mount Pleasant Fireworks are dark in McMillan Park. A parade is at 5 p.m. Meet Your Local Heroes, and free activities like wagon and carousel rides and face painting begin at 5:30 p.m. Food will be available in the Wright Pavilion.
Old Fort Madison at Riverview Park will recreate the military ceremony for Independence Day, including 18 gunshots from the fort, at 1 p.m.
The Yellow Rose Lounge1085 Russell St., Lomax, Illinois, will have free chicken fish and chips from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and live music from The Boys from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
