Riders wanted for a commemorative event of motorcycles and classic cars | Local/Regional

Patriots Cove, a community resource and retreat for veterans, first responders and their caregivers, will host an unforgettable ride Friday through Sunday, August 26-28. Owners of motorcycles and classic cars are welcome to participate in the full ride or any part of the two main legs of the trip. The trip will begin with a wreath laying at the Pentagon in Washington, DC, continue the next day in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and end at the 9/11 Memorial at the World Trade Center in New York.

Discreetly located along Beaver Run in Wyoming’s Lower County, Pennsylvania, Patriots Cove was founded by Jeff and Melissa Swire as a haven for those who have given so much to the nation and their local communities and still face physical and emotional challenges, as well as those who love and support them. The 18-acre site offers accommodations, recreational activities like trout fishing, and programs that meet the unique needs of those for whom service and sacrifice have come naturally but at a cost.
