Rescuers are investigating after a westbound pickup truck lost control, struck a trailer parked on East Front Street, and veered into a railing during the Saturday Farmers’ Market at the Pavilion at the Gateway Transit Center in downtown Port Angeles. Cpl. Erik Smith of the Port Angeles Police Department said the driver apparently had a medical problem at the time of the sinking, but he and a young passenger were not injured. No market vendor was installed at the incident site and no one in the market was injured. A parked car, a street sign and a lamppost were also damaged.
