List: Daviess County Easter Egg Hunts


With Easter fast approaching on April 17, we have started a list of local Easter egg hunts throughout the community. Here are the events we have on our list so far.

Trunnell Farm Market – Easter Egg Hunt
April 9 and April 16, 11am-4pm

$14.99 per child (12 months to 17 years old) and $10.99 per adult online. Tickets at the door will be higher than online.
Meet and greet the Easter Bunny. Photo opportunities, animal barnyard access, jumping pillow, Easter face painting. Easter Egg Hunt – each child can collect 12 different colored eggs from the hunt and then return them to receive an Easter Bunny prize pack. Spring Farm Experience included with admission.

Superior Auto – Easter Sidewalk Chalk Show
April 9, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.
4939 Frederique Street
Includes prizes, food, and an Easter egg hunt during the event. Show off your artistic side and decorate a parking space.

Owensboro Regional Salvage – Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt
April 9, breakfast 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and hunting at 11 a.m.
4301 Veach Road
$8 per person includes breakfast, $40 for a family of up to six, children 5 and under eat free

Dugan Best Recreation Center – Easter Egg Hunt
April 15, 4-5 p.m.
1003 Omega Street
Eggs will be filled with candy and prizes. The participants, aged 8 to 12, will be divided into three age groups. Call 270-687-8714 for more information.

Trunnell’s Farm Market – Adult Easter Egg Hunt
April 15, 6-10 p.m.

$29 for general admission, $89 for VIP tickets. Only available online.
Hunt at 7:30 p.m. and includes over $3,500 in cash and prizes. The Hunt is for adults 21 and over and offers a wide range of cocktails, local and craft beers, wines and food. Live entertainment. The more than 20 attractions usually reserved for children accentuate the event, ranging from the jumping cushion and pedal tractors to the ball zone.

Reid’s Orchard – Easter Adventure
April 16, 11am-4pm

$7 per child
Easter bunny, scavenger hunt, egg picking, animal barnyard, activities at Reidland. Kona Ice from Owensboro & Santa’s Toys donated prizes for the Easter egg pick-up; Kona Ice will be on site.
