Late summer and fall cruises from Seattle, Los Angeles and San Diego for vaccinated travelers

With the return of pleasure travel, the CDC has lifted the sailing ban and, once again, cruise enthusiasts are lining up to set sail.

Earlier this summer, cruises returned to Mexico and the Caribbean and this month the popular Alaskan cruise season resumed in Seattle. As those early departures fill up, it’s a great time to take advantage of the current offers as you plan your late summer and fall vacation.

Booking directly with a cruise line may offer benefits for frequent cruise passengers, but there are other ways to save even if it’s your family’s first trip. Costco Members enjoy package deals and cash back rewards with a Costco Shopping Card, while AAA Members enjoy the benefits of culinary specialties and spending credits on board.

Perhaps the greatest benefits and discounts come from frequent flyer partnership programs such as Alaska Airlines’ partnership with CruisesOnly and Delta SkyMiles Cruises. By booking a cruise with your frequent flyer number, you get exclusive discounts, onboard benefits and the possibility of earning up to 10,000 bonus miles simply by booking with the partner airline.

When resuming the cruise, it is important to verify specific vaccination requirements with your preferred cruise line. For the most part, cruise passengers should be ready to be fully immunized at least 14 days before boarding. Most cruise lines require passengers to bring their original vaccination record on board.

Where will you be going in the next few months? Read on to find the best deals for late summer and fall cruises.
