June 12

Tie-Dye Day and Free Entry to the Estuarium: Located at 309 State Ave. NE, Olympia, the Estuary offers free admission from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to celebrate Pride Month. Participants will be able to dye shirts and learn about marine life. If you buy a dyeable shirt at the Estuarium, the process is free. If you are bringing clothes from home, it will cost $3 to dye one item and $5 to dye two. Contact 360-915-0773 or [email protected] with any questions.

Boat trip in the city center with the estuary: The Boat trip in the city center offers the opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with the coastline of Olympia. From 1 to 3 p.m., participants will hike the 1.5-mile trail that the Estuarium Education Team uses on their Estuary Life & Landforms field trips. Admission to the boardwalk is $15 for adults and includes admission to the estuary; children under 12 ride for free.

OlyTown Artesians Soccer: Watch the local USL League 2 semi-pro football team play from 2-5pm at Black Hills Stadium, 7741 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater. Tickets are available online.

June 16

Vince Brown in June: local icon Vince Brown will perform solo from 5-7 p.m. every Wednesday in June at the Swing Wine Bar, 825 Columbia St. in Olympia, as well as from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 16 at the Olympia Farmers Market. Call 360-357-9464 for reservations for Wednesday nights.

June 17

Empowerment 4 Girls’ Solstice Women’s Retreat: A “holistic wellness weekend” is planned for Millersylvania State Park, 12245 Tilley Road SW, Olympia, for all women, including non-binary and trans women, over the age of 18 . Proceeds will go to Empowerment 4 Girls youth programs. The event runs from 5 p.m. on June 17 to 11 a.m. on June 19. Admission ranges from $5 to $300. Register before June 13.

“Falling” by Olympia Little Theater: The piece “Falling” features a family learning the complicated reality of raising an autistic man. The theater is at 1925 Miller Ave NE, Olympia. The play will begin at 7:25 p.m. on June 17 and 18. Tickets are $11 to $15.

Equine Endurance Ride – Creek to Capitol Peak: Join the riders at Evergreen Sportsman’s Club at Capitol Forest, 12736 Marksman St. SW, Olympia June 17-18. Friday will be the Intro/25 round and Saturday will be the Intro/30/50/75 round. Admission ranges from $30 to $155. 41st June Celebration: The event will take place at the Regional Athletic Complex, Shelter C, 8345 Steilacoom Road SE. strawberry festival: The 86th Annual Strawberry Festival will be at the South Bay Grange, 3918 Sleater Kinney Road NE, Olympia from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features a Strawberry Short K run/walk, local vendors, live music and children’s crafts.

Irish Classic Car Show: It’s the 10th Annual Irish Classic Car Show collected by O’Blarney’s Irish Pub, 4411 Martin Way, Olympia. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gifts and rewards are included. The show will feature Best in Show, O’Blarney’s Picks and People’s Choice.
