The Spring Cash Party fundraiser will be hosted by Reimagine Everett on March 26 at the Southern Cove Rod and Gun Club, 998 Ridge Road, New Enterprise. Tickets are $20. The Summer Cruises, sponsored by R&N Tire of Everett, will take place at 5 p.m. on June 5, July 3, August 7 and September 4 at the Moon Glo II Ice Rink parking lot, Route 220 north of Bedford. All types of tires, custom wheels, auto repairs and condition inspections will be featured. Music will be provided by disc jockey Wayne Dull, who will play alumni. Allegany Arts Council and Schoolhouse Quilters Guild will host the first-ever 2022 Schoolhouse Quilting Show and Contest from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 3-4 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 5 at the Allegany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland , Maryland. The event marks the first time the council and quilt have teamed up for show and competition, looking to expand nationally. The 2022 contest will feature three full days of quilt shows, programs and workshops, a quilt shop, vendors and more. Over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded to traditional and modern quilters in various categories. Tickets for the show and the workshops will be available on presale from April.
