It is the second accident to take place on Woodford Lane in 24 hours.

There was a collision at the junction of the road with the A5 yesterday morning (28 February).

It also resulted in the closure of the road and part of the A5, which connects Nuneaton and Atherstone.

Less than an hour after that, there was another collision on the northbound A5 near Junction 10 of the M42 at Tamworth.

A young motorcyclist had to be hospitalized following a collision with a car in the Birch Coppice Business Park.
