“Cruise-In” at the Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday

CONCORD, NC (WBTV) — Classics, muscles, restomods and trailer queens will share the spotlight on Tuesday, July 19, when round seven of the Cook Out Summer Shootout’s “Cruise-in Night” presented by Hagerty and Streetside Classics will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Hagerty and Streetside Classics will bring over 50 dream cars and jaw-dropping beauties for fans to enjoy ahead of a night of popular racing with Legend Cars and Bandoleros. The night will include a quarter mile car cruise between the Bandolero and Legend Car features.

Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to vote for which car they believe is “the best at the show”. The winner will be presented with a trophy during the car parade.

Fans wishing to participate in the Cruise-In must arrive at Charlotte Motor Speedway between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Check-in takes place at the Gate 4 ticket office. Cars arriving after 5.30pm but still wishing to display their car can do so in the Fan Zone. The show car driver enters for just $5, while additional adults in the car will have $10 entry. Children 12 and under will enter for free.

ABOUT THE COOK OUT SUMMER SHOOTOUT:

Now in its 29th season, the Cook Out Summer Shootout is a showcase of 10 speed races across seven different divisions of Legend Cars and Bandoleros. Races take place on Tuesday evenings, with drivers racking up points throughout the summer towards a season-ending championship.

As well as some of the season’s most competitive grassroots races, the Shootout features themed nights, games and activities for the whole family – ensuring each event is must-do entertainment for all ages.

Cruise-In drivers will receive FREE admission, with $10 admission for all other adults; Children under 12 enter FREE. Tickets can be purchased at the door, by calling 800-455-FANS (3267) or online at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com/tickets .
