DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 14, 2022) – NASCAR’s incredible momentum entering 2022 was showcased again today as Daytona International Speedway announced that the 64and The DAYTONA 500 race, scheduled for this Sunday, February 20, is sold out.

Speedweeks presented by AdventHealth officially kicks off today with the NASCAR Hauler Showcase at ONE DAYTONA from 5-7 p.m. The event is open to the public and is expected to feature approximately 40 massive, brightly colored 18-wheel NASCAR Cup Series transporters each taking the team’s race cars and gear to NASCAR venues across the country.

In addition to Tuesday’s opening practice sessions (5:05 p.m. and 6:35 p.m.) for the NASCAR Cup Series and “Next Gen” cars, acclaimed country music artist Rodney Atkins will take to the UNOH Fanzone stage at 8:00 p.m. All campers on the grounds and GEICO West Lot campers will be able to attend for free while others – who are not campground guests – can purchase a ticket for only $20 per person, having access to the UNOH Fanzone for the Atkins concert and Cup Series practices.
